This is just going to be a very brief post as I wanted to let people know about a very interesting book I came across when, as I mentioned, in another post, I was helping my son recently with a school science project. He had to make a worm composting bin and we did lots of research together and in the process I came across a rather quirky book which I found absolutely fascinating.
The book, which is by Amy Stewart, is called “The Earth Moved: On the Remarkable Achievements of Earthworms”. It’s everything you wanted to know about Earthworms and more but it is written in a really engaging and witty style. I can’t believe anyone who reads this book wouldn’t rush straight out and set up a worm composter if they hadn’t already done so. It’s really thought-provoking and will basically change the way you think about your garden forever.
